Hook:                  Tiemco 2487 # 16-24
Thread:                Body color of your fly: olive, brown, black, gray, etc.
                           (Note) The thread forms the abdomen of the fly
Thorax:                Coarse dubbing like hare's ear Tail & Wing Case:
                           Wood Duck flank fibers (the WD of the name)Lemon Wood.
                           For the Wing case butts of tail pulled over thorax

* Note- Substitute Krystal Flash for tail and wing case for a great emergent pattern

Tying Instruction:

1. Tie on thread at hook eye.
2. Wrap thread to hook bend and tie on tail.
3. Make a slightly tapered body with thread, ending with thread at base of tail.
4. Color thread with black marker and rib body with black thread.
5. Tie on Woodduck for wing case.
6. Dub bulbous thorax.
7. Pull wing case over thorax and tie off. Tips of wing case fibers maybe used as legs.
8. Whip finish head.
