Slide the appropriate size gold bead onto the hook and place the hook in the vise. Secure the bead by wrapping thread behind it. Wrap the thread behind the bead to form a tapered underbody. Wrap the thread down the shank of the hook until it hangs even with the barb and make a small thread butt.
Tie two brown goose biots on top of the hook, crisscrossing over the thread ball.
Lash the gold ribbing to the hook. Wrap a tapered body of Peacock Herl up very close to the bead. Rib the fly with the gold tinsel.
Lash several partridge fibers to the bottom of the hook as legs.
Tie two amber goose biots on top of the body the same way you would for a prince nymph, tips curving downward, and just short of the body length.
Wrap a collar of peacock herl. Whip finish and cement.
