This knot is most often used knot to attach a fly to the tippet.

1 - Pass the end of the tippet through the eye of the hook.

2 - Wrap the tippet around itself five or six times.

3 - Pass the end of the tippet though the loop next to the eye of the hook and then back though the larger loop and pull tight.
